   Select the furniture type (wardrobe, table, desk, bookshelf, TV unit, etc.).

   Enter overall width, height, depth and panel thickness.

   Set the number of doors and drawers if applicable.

   Calculate to get the panel list, totals and cost estimate.

• Reduce panels for a standard 2440 × 1220 mm sheet to cut waste.

• Place fixed shelves at intervals that match what you will store.

• Leave 2–3 mm gaps between doors and around drawers for smooth operation.

• Dedicate one shelf height to long items (coats, boots, tall bottles).

• Forgetting the thickness of side panels when sizing shelves and doors.

• Not allowing for hinges and slides when sizing doors and drawers.

• Building a unit that is too tall to get through the door frame.
