Steps

  1. Glue the five top boards edge-to-edge and clamp flat.
  2. Build the two leg frames with mortise-and-tenon or pocket screws.
  3. Join the frames with the aprons, keeping the opening square.
  4. Install the drawer slides and build the two drawer boxes.
  5. Attach the top with figure-8 clips so it can move.
  6. Sand to 220 grit and apply 3 coats of hardwax oil.
