Formula
Room area = length × width. Required area = room area × (1 + waste). Planks = ceil(required area / (plank length × plank width)). Boxes = ceil(required area / box coverage). Waste by layout: straight 5–7%, diagonal 10–15%, herringbone 15–20%.
